Examples of Jigsaw Puzzles rescued from the brink...

A Wasjig Puzzle has been saved from the trash!
This is one of the first test puzzles repaired by the Jigsaw Doctor.

This jigsaw puzzle was purchased at a Charity (Thrift) Shop and had seven pieces missing.

Many thanks to Mrs J Brooker of East Sussex, UK for sending before and after pictures of her repaired 5,000 piece puzzle 'A Harvest Festival' painted by Eisman Semenowsky (Falcon Regal Jigsaw Puzzle).

The main picture shows the jigsaw with the missing piece arrowed. To the right is a close-up with the replacement piece inserted.

The above jigsaw puzzle was manufactured by Waddington Ltd. It is a limited edition 2,000 piece puzzle entitled 'A Victorian Christmas'.

The puzzle was submitted for repair by Mrs. Janet Blunt of Northants, UK. Many thanks to Mrs. Blunt for sending a photograph of the completed puzzle.

After receiving the replacement piece Mrs. Blunt wrote, "Many thanks for the very efficient and prompt service. The jigsaw piece that you made for me is amazing...I would not hesitate to use this service again and would recommend it to others."

Thanks to Leia Ho from Singapore, who sent in these fantastic pictures of her Walt Disney Jigsaw Puzzle after the Jigsaw Doctor had produced the replacement piece.

I don't often use the internet for ordering items, but even I found it easy.
As I know the missing piece I can see which it is. But the new piece is a very good match on colour and shape. The puzzle is complicated, and is shaped, and the missing piece was an edge bit.
The piece was made and returned well within the two weeks quoted, which allowing for the Christmas post I thought may not happen.

Virtually perfect and even the slight imperfection is barely visible - I've had worse fits from 'regular' puzzle pieces!
Colours are a very good match indeed - again you have to get very close to notice any difference.
